The United States Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) requires peer review approval of all research involving human subjects conducted by investigators at institutions that receive funding from federal agencies. In accordance with federal regulations, all research involving human subjects conducted at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ or conducted by ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ faculty, staff, or students must be reviewed and approved by the University's Institutional Review Board (IRB).
