Overview

¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Interpreting Services (GIS) was established to provide best-in-class sign language interpreting services befitting of the world’s foremost university for the deaf and hard of hearing.

GIS strives to be a program and workplace known for its inclusivity, transparency, and positivity to ensure our clientele and employees feel welcomed and supported whether they’re receiving our services or coming to work.

We are critical to upholding the values of the university that foster belonging and engagement for all.  We work to provide access to students, faculty, staff, teachers, alumni, and visitors throughout the campus. Whether people need interpretation, translation, or CART services, we are ready to provide it.
