Overview

¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Interpreting Services (GIS) was established to provide best-in-class sign language interpreting services befitting of the world’s foremost university for the deaf and hard of hearing. GIS strives to be a program and workplace known for its inclusivity, transparency, and positivity to ensure our clientele and employees feel welcomed and supported whether they’re receiving our services or coming in to work. Our department is critical to ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which put into law that through reasonable accommodations, all persons with disabilities are to receive equal access to the same services and benefits that are available to those without disabilities.
