WSU’s Web Camp has received the “Program of Distinction Award” from the Massachusetts Board of Education. WSU’s online Bachelor’s completion program ranked #1 nationwide for faculty credentials and training in U.S. News & World Report<\/em>\u2019s first-ever edition (2012) of Top Online Education Program rankings. ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ State has continued to achieve Best Online Programs ranking each year.<\/p>\n Web Camp is a certificate program that provides faculty with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to successfully transition face-to-face courses into online learning environments.<\/p>\n Participants will explore topics including:<\/p>\n Faculty who are scheduled to teach an online, hybrid, or remote synchronous<\/strong>\u00a0course are invited to apply for Web Camp, ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ’s online instructor training program.<\/p>\n Web Camp is designed to prepare faculty to effectively teach in online instructional environments by providing practical training in online pedagogy, course design, instructional technology, and best practices for student engagement.<\/p>\n The program is offered as a virtual, self-paced online course<\/strong> developed and supported by the Center for Instructional Technology (CIT).<\/strong><\/p>\n Faculty who successfully complete all Web Camp requirements are eligible to receive a $750 stipend<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Applications are accepted on a rolling basis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Applicants will be notified of their application status as soon as possible following submission.<\/p>\n
